crime prevention advice

How to prevent pickpocket?
1. Avoid crowded places as pickpockets tend to lurk at crowded places looking for potential targets and it will also be easier for them to act unnoticed.
2. Don't place your wallet and hand phones in your back pocket as it makes you an easy target for pickpockets.
3. Likewise, sling or place your bag in front to prevent giving any opportunity for the pickpockets.
4. Prevent bringing too much cash or valuables so that you would be less likely to be a target for the pickpockets and even if you are pick pocketed, your losses would be minimised.
5. If you are bringing a lot of cash or valuables, prevent flashing them so that you won't be a target for pickpockets.6. Don't trust people who appear to be friendly as they could just be trying to create an opportunity to pickpocket you.

How to prevent vandalism?
1. Place security cameras around your vicinity to deter people from vandalizing your property.
2. Work with your neighbours and keep a lookout for suspicious people.

3.  if you see anyone vandalizing, please call the police.

Everyone can play a part to help improve the current situation by not vandalizing and littering, keeping the place clean. Please do not litter around the neighbourhood as the rubbish you throw might contain leftover food that might attract stray animals into the nieghbourhood. Please do not feed the stray animals as they may carry diseases that might be harmful to the residents of the neighbourhood. If you like the stray cats or dogs, you can adopt it else, send it to SPCA(a place where keep stray animals).
